As by January 2014, the EU funded Research and Innovation Programme Horizon 2020 offers support to innovative Small and Medium Size Enterprises (SMEs) for the implementation of Innovation Projects in a broad spectrum of application domains. Through this Scheme the EU envisions financial support to thousands of European SMEs.

With the support of the EU project SIforAGE “Social Innovation on Active and Healthy Ageing for Sustainable Economic Growth” (www.siforage.eu) the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence GmbH, DFKI GmbH organizes a training workshop for competitive proposal writing for the Horizon2020 SME Instrument funding Scheme. The training will be provided by the Danish business consultancy INVESTORNET. INVESTORNET has been one of the major partners behind the development of the SME Instrument and is currently providing evaluation services to the EC in the process of proposals selection. This extraordinary opportunity provides first-hand experiences obtained by INVESTORNET and will help participants of the training to improve design a competitive innovation projects and prepare a high quality proposal for the EC.
